Our privacy promise

This is the short version. The full Privacy Policy, in English, is the one that applies. Read the full Privacy Policy

What the AskTime app can't see

On iPhone, Apple's Screen Time system gives AskTime anonymous tokens instead of app names, so AskTime itself can't tell which apps your kid uses. Your rules are stored as numbers and times, like "90 minutes a day" and "bedtime 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM".

On Android, AskTime sees which app is open only on your kid's phone, to count limited time. App names never leave the phone.

This website

• No cookies, no ads and no third-party fonts. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites.
• The site tells you about AskTime and links to the App Store and Google Play. The only thing it ever asks for is the optional email below.
• Like any website, our hosting provider handles the technical details your browser sends to load a page. We don't use them to learn who you are.
• Downloads and purchases happen in the App Store or Google Play, under Apple's or Google's own privacy policies.

The launch email (optional)

• Before AskTime is in the stores, you can leave your email to hear from us once, when it's out. You can also tell us your phone type (iPhone or Android) if you like.
• We store your email, the phone type if you gave it, the page language and the date. Nothing else: not your IP address, not a cookie.
• We use it only for that one email. We never sell or share it, and we delete the list after the launch email, or after 12 months at the latest.
• Want it removed sooner? Email privacy@asktime.app and we'll delete it.

For parents only

This site is for parents and guardians. Please don't leave a child's email. We never knowingly collect anything from children here.
